Description Hugo Rodenburg 2013-05-10 11:34:26 CEST
It would be great if mobile devices could authenticate using client certificates instead of username/password.

- Enhances security because authentication using certificates is far more secure compared to username/password authentication.

- When account password is changed/expired, devices still sync and does not have to be re-configured.

- Initially more configuration needed on the device (you need to import the certificate).
- Device's certificate needs to be renewed at the end of the lifetime of the certificate (lifetime can be configured).
